Marprene is Watson-Marlow's exclusive thermoplastic elastomer. Always our first recommendation. Marprene is the longest life tubing with a wide chemical compatibility, and is highly resistant to oxidising agents such as ozone and peroxides and sodium hypochlorite. Marprene is beige in colour, opaque to both visible and ultra-violet light with low permeability to gases such as oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen, and meets USDA standards for food handling.
